• I Believe Aydin, Spiegleman, and Satrapi decided to inform readers about these important, historical events using multimodal texts rather than writing traditional novels or historical essays because for one it opens huge opportunities to introduce these serious, historical topics to younger audiences such as kids, a personal example would be myself I found the book Persepolis in my middle school library I didn’t know what it was about but the artwork, and the overall style which is multimodal text now that I know made my 13-year-old self read and fall in love with Persepolis and I bet a bunch of other kids have been informed on historical topics, important events by comic books, graphic novels or even cartoons and i say this because honestly speaking a kid would not enjoy reading a chapter book at least I know I never did.
    • I Have never worked on a multimodal piece so I’m actually kinda nervous or confused about how I’m going to do it or work on it, I also don’t know if ill create art, video, podcast, or a slideshow ill have to do some research and figure it out.
