The things I’ve noticed; One is that the class is on OpenLab and not on blackboard, where the majority of all my studies are on blackboard. I believe that blackboard is easier to use, I’ve had trouble trying to operate OpenLab when first registered, and now I am trying to get the hang of it. The second thing I’ve noticed is that I tend to get a lot of emails coming through whenever other students post on OpenLab. One concern is that our essays will be peer viewed, and I’m not so sure how other students would be able to see each other papers on OpenLab to give comments. However, I love that you were able to put the due dates of every discussion and essay on the syllabus because it can help me to be organized and be prepared for what’s to come. Also, I like how the class doesn’t have a meeting time on zoom, and I’ve had that over the summer, and I didn’t like it so much, but overall I think the online class will work well for me.
