We’re near the end of this unit’s project (not to mention the semester, believe it or not), and I’ve really enjoyed the verbal/email conversations I’ve had with many of you this past week. It’s given me a chance to discuss the reasons why you chose what you chose for Unit 2 and why you’re creating your Unit 3 in your particular fashion. Hopefully, you’ve gotten something out of our conversations as well! 🙂
I also want to commend everyone for all your hard work so far this semester. This asynchronous schedule hasn’t been easy for me, and I know you’ve had your struggles with it as well. I also realize that many of you have struggles beyond the digital classroom, and please know that I support you in those as well.
Finally, I hope you’ve been able to have fun with this assignment! If you feel that you’ve just gotten an idea and are feverishly working, never fear–you’ll have a chance to turn in another draft after this week! Just turn in whatever you have by the deadline!
This week is going to be stretched out as far as assignments go, in order to give everyone extra time to complete, revise, and polish their Unit 3 Writing Assignment. I’ve decided to extend the due date a day (11/19) to give you that time–yay! That said, there’s other things that you MUST do to earn 50 points for the writing assignment, as well as earn participation points. I’ll let you look at the Agenda for Week 13 to see the details.
