A discourse community that I think would benefit from my research of pollution would be pollution protest or organizations against pollution. These type of discourse communities know a lot about the subject because they help stop pollution. The pollution protest can help stop others from polluting our environment to show them that this is dangerous. Although, organizations against pollution is a better discourse community because there are about 15-20 organizations out there for these different types of pollution such as air, land, and water. Expectations that they might have is protecting the environment which is keeping the environment clean from garbage, bad air quality, and waste that causes water to be contaminated which can also get people sick. This discourse community can benefit from this information by trying these solution factors because this can definitely have the chance to decrease the pollution rate in a good way. Although, the best method for reaching my community is contacting them where there are certain areas for example that is contaminated so they can help stop this from happening again or getting it straighten out. The best genre would be academic journals for health and science, since this has to do with peoples health and to stop this pollution from spreading and increasing. The best media in my opinion would be social media such as Instagram, Twitter, Facebook , etc, where you mention the organizations on your stories and posts so people can see it and use it for good.
