1). The reason why she is writing this letter is so women can have the same fair and equal treatment, rights, and respect as men do. what she wants the person reading this is so he can help her accomplish what she wants to do for women in France

2). After reading this I feel I would identify the DC that Wollstonecraft as a fight for rights for women because that’s what she says how that is her main argument. The recipient does not seem to be part of this DC because it seems she is writing to this man in a way that she is arguing for her to convince him to help her so women can have equal rights as men do, so he can convince people to help her accomplish that.

3).

Quote 1: “If you are going to exclude women, without consulting them, from sharing in the natural rights of mankind, then defend yourself against accusations of injustice and inconsistency by proving that women don’t have reason”(Wollstonecraft)

The strategy she is using is she is accusing him and in a way trying to make him feel embarrassed, and say that its fair whats she doing that if your going to be unfair that they shouldn’t.

How I found this persuasive is because she is trying to prove points here by says facts about the person she is writing this letter too. shes trying to make the person release the two sides to this situation.

Quote 2: “I know that you firmly believe you are acting in the manner most likely to promote women’s happiness; but who made man the exclusive judge ·of that·
if woman shares with him the gift of reason?”(Wollstonecraft)

The strategy she is using here is trying to expose him to let the other people around her and him know what kind of person he is. To show the people even more why they should support her and help her accomplish this goal she is trying to reach.

This is really effective because she is exposing the people she is against she is telling him and his followers he is saying these good things about certain things but then he goes around somewhere else and starts saying something that totally goes against to what he said earlier.
