The ideals that i learned through this passage and the work that i had to do has shown me a new light that had been unseen before in my life, with the passages that i read it further enlightened me and awakened me to the world and helped me understand why literacy is such an important thing to have in this world, and how some people are so desperate to learn because of how important it is, they are willing to go against the law and try regardless. that shows the power that books and reading and writing have, that those in power want the lower strata to not be able to do it, which just demonstrates how powerful it is as a skill to have, and why everyone should know it
