Doing this type of research, I learned that analyzing credible sources can advance my understanding of whatever I am researching and help me extensively dissect my question. I found it difficult to really find sources that fit the criteria and were academic. Going through the CityTech database was helpful in finding credible sources that were academic and really fit the topic I was researching. The class where we learned how to use the library search engine was probably the most helpful aspect of going through this project as I now know what resources I can use to further my research. After completing this assignment, it is much easier for me to know exactly what to look for when conducting research in my future classes. It was helpful to have a structure for my research that allowed me to read back on what I read as well as reflect on what I thought of the source.
