After some out-of-stock and shipping woes (including a 2nd-day delivery package just disappearing from the system for a week, all the pieces I’ve ordered have arrived. I had ordered a mix of LEDs, both single and on a rope/ribbon, and most of the stuff isn’t exactly what we need. Ironically, the LEDs best suited for us are actually something I had forgotten I had ordered!
I had a realization – holy crap it’s already the middle of November. It’s time to get cracking. This week I hope to have time to confirm that I have full ideal control over the type of LED ribbon that seems best suited to use, and if it all works I’ll order another spool. Then we’ll work on adding a sound and possibly light sensor, and work out how exactly we’re going to mount the various electronics onto our suit jacket.
