A very well known logo that I’ve seen everywhere and still see is the “I love New York” logo.  Instead of the actual word love, the logo uses a heart to symbolize it and abbreviates New York with NY.  I’ve seen this logo on many tourist clothes all over the world, from New York to Canada.  This logo   originated from New York very own graphic artist named Milton Glaser.

 

Milton Glaser came up with the million dollar logo in 1977 when he wanted to encourage tourism in New York State. Glaser gave the world this well known logo for free, but now the New York State Empire State Development  owns the trademark.  Since then, the logo has been manipulated into all different other designs and styles on clothing as well.  The Logo uses big typeface so you can notice it and the heart is just as big as the type and red to stand out.

 

I like this quote a lot because its 100% true.  In today’s society a lot of people have a hard time trying to fit in and be “normal” when in reality, what does that word even really mean? This quote encourages peoples to embrace their individuality and be okay

This quote is a great way to overcome sad, serious situations with a positive outlook. 

I believe my logo represents me very well; I chose certain colors intentionally and a certain symbol that represents what I love.  The colors in my logo are baby blue, gold and my favorite color pink.  The top half of my logo is pink just because it’s my favorite color, the bottom half is baby blue to represent my bubbly personality.  The wiggly separation of colors is to represent my mood swings; they’re sometimes rocky never too straight.  The crown in the middle is golden to represent the golden rule I try to follow everyday and the three pink stones in the middle represent the people I love dearest; the gem to the right represent my mother, the middle my grandmother, and the left is for my two sisters.
