Good day, everyone.My name is Violet Tui DCosta. Bangladesh is where I was born and raised. I’ve been in the United States for about three years and I adore living in New York City. Every corner in this city is a favorite to me, and the vibe of this city talks to me. I’m attending summer classes for the first time in my academic career. I am doing my major in  Marketing management and sales and I ended up choosing this major because now I am working in a retail store and I feel like I can convince my customers. Also, I notice my customers also rely on my decisions sometimes. So with this major in the future I am going to finish my bachelor’s degree and so that I already started doing my transfer requirements. Besides my childhood I dreamt of doing a job in a well-known multinational company, therefore, I firmly believe my major will sail me to pursue my dream after my graduation.

Hi everyone! My name is XuHui Deng, most people call my last name, Deng. Obviously I am from China and I live in Brooklyn now. Playing video gaming is one of my favourite hobbies which leads me into the digital world. Star Citizen is my favored space game.  Therefore, my major is computer science. I enjoy programming and would like to develop or participate in space-related game development projects. For my favourite author…… Actually I don’t read literature books too much but I did read a science fiction novel which had a great influence in science fiction circles “The three body problem”, written by Liu Cixin. Liu Cixin is one of the few authors that writes fiction that follows science and portrays the future of technology through hard-core imagination, you can not find its loopholes, because it has a scientific basis. Even President Obama has publicly said that he was staying up late to catch up on “The three body problem“. What I have said above are my expectations with some flavoring agent for my future. The game is enjoyable, but the food is life. I has a lot of enthusiasm for hotpot but I’ve taken a fancy to sushi and BBQ after my journey to the U.S. That’s all I have to say about myself, nice to meet you all.

Hi, My Name is Matthew Castro(He/Him). I was born and raised in Queens, NY. I am majoring in Mechanical Engineering. I picked Mechanical Engineering because I know it is really important in this day and age and I would like to be a part of that. I like to bike ride around the city and see places I haven’t seen before. My interests are Music, Video Games, and training in MMA.  I enjoy reading books I just don’t make the effort of looking for a book to read. I enjoy listening to podcasts and watching them as well.
