Journal Entries Week#2
DREAM CATCHER
This week I did research on how the brain operates and some of the new inventions and discoveries that have been done related to brain waves.
More specifically communicating with our brain without buttons and hard drives. Like the video included bellow.
This a project that scientist work on for recording our dreams called “Dream recorder” and is similar to what I want to do.

This is a article which is very helpful to the research i do and that is because is about a scanner that records your dreams but for now scientists only can detect what is in your brain if you already have seen it. For example you see a dot and they can detect the brain waves data with a scanner and see actually the dot you have seen. they hope in the future they can see what you dream, since they already can see what you see and what you think.

Those are some of the articles on the subject and specially how we can record the waves from the brain with EEG (electroencephalography).

This article is on how Neuroscientists may one day be able to hear the imagined speech of a patient unable to speak due to stroke or paralysis, according to University of California, Berkeley, researchers.
This is a research on Brain waves recorded using noninvasive EEG and how can be mathematically decoded into meaningful information about human movements.

Luchia: A great beginning. What I really think is unique about your invention is its tie to memory, and subconscious memory at that..
These were just two things I recalled which may help you work towards the methodology of how it could work.
These were works for controlling elements of performance and but may inspire you further —-http://isea2011.sabanciuniv.edu/paper/eeg-data-interactive-art
and http://www.studio360.org/2012/dec/21/mind-games-designing-with-eeg/. Its not exactly what you are interested in and its confined to head sets or implants which you may want to surpass – since your budget is unlimited and your imagination can run wild for this project.
