My research question is: How has the CV pandemic impacted and changed the dropping of the mask mandate? This topic interests me because as coronavirus is still in motion the government decides to drop the mask mandate leaving some people in fear for their lives. What was once made to protect us from diseases or deadly viruses, now is not mandatory. Another reason why this interest me is because I am a person that likes to do daily activities such as grocery shopping or shopping in general and going to visit family members. Places that used to have a strong demand for wearing masks aren’t that demanding anymore. Nowadays it feels like the coronavirus doesn’t exist but when it’s still out there now and active. I already know that Every state in America has dropped their mass mandate and no longer requires people to wear their mask even in crowded places. Even though some schools provide options whether the student can be able to go online or in person but when in the school they are not required to wear the mask. I also know that stores and schools use plexiglass to shield and protect the cashier and teachers use the same equipment to protect themselves from the student just for precaution. Some points that I plan to explore and find out more about are How many people agree with this mandate And how many people have died because of it. Is this really safe or is this another way for the government to speed up what we once had of a normal life.
