I find this quote to be really important because by studying their choices and behaviors, we were able to comprehend the concepts and values they upheld and how to put them into practice in our own lives. Their lifestyle served as an example for us, leaving this valuable knowledge on diligence, accountability, kindness, and perseverance. They helped mold Colin into the person that he is today by demonstrating to him these traits via their actions and instilling in us the value of appreciating and enhancing his own abilities. It also helps to keep Colin humble to this day as it keeps reminding him about where he came from.
