Success Tips — Balthazar

Tip 1: Check the Syllabus

This tip speaks to me personally because I never used to check the syllabus in my first semester of college. By not checking the syllabus I would feel lost in the beginning of the semester because I had no idea what to expect and did not have a roadmap to help guide me. Nowadays I try to check the syllabus, to either see due dates or the course schedule. I will use this tip in class by checking the syllabus, for due dates and checking the course schedule before the week begins so I can know what to expect.

Tip 2: Ask for Help

This tip is important because it is something I never do. Usually if I need help, I will watch a YouTube video or just google my question and read some articles. This way of doing it is easier for me, especially when I have a question while doing homework. This is not an effective use of my resources because the teacher is there for my benefit and to answer any questions I should have. In this class specifically will try to ask for help if needed, especially If I am uncertain of something.
