One important thing I learned about How to Read Like a Writer is your choices of words are important because when you have good choices of words, the audience or reader would feel more engaged and interested, and makes it easier to understand the concept. The quote in the Bunn essay where I learned this is, “Reading like a writer can help you understand how the process of writing is a series of making choices, and in doing so, can help you recognize important decisions you might face and techniques you might want to use when working on your own writing.” The quote means in my own words, reading like a writer can help you recognize important decisions you might face and strategies you might want to use when working on your own writing. It demonstrates how the writing process is a series of choices.
Well actually he is not talking about the words you choice. He is talking about choices in general that a writer makes, not just the words s/he chooses. Amy I hope you got more understanding after we discussed this in class.
