Writing is more about the process because there are steps to take to make the perfect draft and when you make the first draft itâs like a childâs draft when you pour out all your ideas and main points but unorganized, but you will always come back to the first draft to edit it and fix it up until itâs perfect.Â
âWriting is not rapturous.â I think this means that writing isnât really a fun thing to do, sometimes writing can be hard and sometimes writing can be easy but writing shitty first drafts can help because after rewriting your drafts for a second or third time, it gets easier, and drafts can help you sort out your ideas and how to organize them as well.Â
I also agree with you that writing is all about the process and the steps. And how the first draft will always be the hardest because youâre trying to think of what to get down on the paper, lots of brainstorming. Eventually it does get easier because all you gotta do is go back and revise it and fix some things.
Hi Taniesha, I agree with your interpretation of the quote from the reading. Writing can sometimes feel like a burden. The difficulties of writing stem from the lack of not having a starting point. From what we read, I understood it is best to jot anything and everything down. I feel this will help us find a point within our writing and release the struggle of not having some writing to start with. I agree that drafts helps us organize our thoughts and what we want the reader to get informed about.
Excellent answers! And the genre would be?
