My research question is: Should it be illegal to use animals as testing subjects? This topic interests me because most of the products that we use in our everyday lives was tested first on an animal. I love animals, I have a cat and I had a hamster before and I would not want my pets to suffer and even die because of an experiment. Just because they are animals it does not mean that they should be tested on and be harmed. I already know that animal testing is mostly used in cosmetic and household products. These are products that we use on our everyday lives. Some points that I plan to explore and find out more about are, can research be done without the use of an animal? What are the outcomes in an animals health after it is used in research? and has the government done something to try to stop animal testing?
