I have learned a lot in last few weeks. I used to use Google or Google scholar search engine most of the time to find information online. I didn’t know how to find information using library databases. I didn’t know what EBSCO is before this class. There are lot more things which I didn’t know before this class. Searching strategies that I have learned in this class are not only helping me in my library class research paper but also these strategies helping me in research on Alzheimer disease in my Chemistry class. I am very happy that I took this class and learned so many techniques for searching reliable information.

I agree with you. I also used to just use Google scholar as my search engine all the time before. Now, thanks to this class I can use other search engine and library data base. Of course, not all search engine and library data base were very useful. As a matter of fact, to me, only a few of them were very useful. Most of them requires you to pay a certain amount of money in order to get access to their articles, some of them were very hard to understand (the function/organization of their programs). But then again, it only depends on the user. Some of us might like other search engine and library data base that we do notlike because it is easier for them to use.
