Plagerism

I enjoyed how Maurice Isserman defends others who may have committed plagiarism unintentionally. Thoughts and reactions have a limited horizon. For example, if I say something in my blog post that sounds very similar to what a colleague of mine has previously stated, it is not my intention to plagiarise, i simply expressed my reaction towards the article in a similar way where my colleague felt the same. My colleague could have been lazy and said something very vague and poorly expressed, as I could have easily taken the easy way out as well, and came up with a similar theory, in order to save my self time and effort, without knowing that it has been stated already. We read the same article and could possibly have felt the same way about it. But the way we express our emotions toward it, that is an original idea that I believe others could experience on other levels as well.
