I infer that “zine” is a short version of a magazine. I like that there is so much freedom involved involving zines. They could be about anything random. I do not recall ever reading or seeing a zine ever before. I agree that word of mouth is one of the best ways to find out about the existence of zines. I did not know of a zine distributor by the name of a distro. It sounds like an obvious gadget name. I like how the paragraph titled “Why publish a zine? has every sentence beginning with “To”. That paragraph does not follow an obvious rule and gets straight to the answer right away. I would be interested in making my own zine.
