I choose this photo because it’s a hight key and low key as you can see the button part of the glass cup is low key. However the upper part of the skull and the glass and the medicine from the left side of the photo is hight key. I was trying to combine both of the hight key and the low key in one picture. As the example I saw in the lecture.
So a photo is only really ever High key OR Low key. While some can find themselves in a middle ground, this is definitely a low key photo. Even though it was shot with the two lights, it is predominantly dark and contrasty, and that’s more what dictates the overall look.
