The second week consisted of continuous searching for an internship. Now that my online portfolio was completed, I felt at ease and confident with the pieces I selected to showcase. I was now able to apply to the saved job searches that required a linked portfolio.

I downloaded the Indeed app on my phone to be quickly notified of new positions, or replies from my previous applications that I submitted. Some other websites that I bookmarked along the way were, LinkedIn, Glassdoor and the AIGA job board. It helped a great deal being a member of a professional organization, such as AIGA. The job listing on their site is for members only, so I felt as though I had a better shot at obtaining an internship.
