I’m having difficulties with mashing up my patterns. At first I liked my first pattern, then when i began on the bristol paper it felt off balance. I started another one, but I do not want to move on without hearing others opinion. Comment please!

I like the concept of your staccato and legato but it looks sort of rushed in the sketch. Also, I think maybe some of the boxes should be smaller and allow some of the patterns to repeat more than it shows on this sketch. Good start though!
