The original visual quote I chose to use for this assignment was “ Love for all hatred for none”. At first I thought I had great ideas for this quote, but as I sat down and realized that I didn’t have many ideas for the quote , I decided to change It to a famous Lebron James quote “ “You have to be able to accept failure to get better.” For all of my quotes I chose pictures that was at a time were he went through some type of failure and overcome it later in life

For my first quote I wanted to do something like a cartoon character because Lebron James has been appearing in a lot of cartoons lately. I thought it could really be fun to make an illustrated cartoon character. I thought using bold font and having lebron james illustrated character sit on top of the quote would look good.
For this second design, I decided to incorporate a photo of Lebron Jmaes and made a photo mask in illustrator so you could see the image through the words. When I first started off I didn’t put the words and photo together. I put the quote on one side in black text on a white background, and the photo on the other side. This design didn’t look good to me so I decided to do the photo mask and it looked much better.
The third design, I wanted to highlight the quote more especially because in the second quote The picture was the main focus of the design. I put the text in big bold letters and put the picture in the text . By doing this I felt the text became the main focus, but still had enough of the picture in it.
