P.S 40 AUGUSTUS SAINT- GAUDENSh

P.S 40 is described  as a vital part of a close-knit neighborhood. So much so that a local Starbucks features student artwork, and new teachers get an orientation tour of the neighborhood. There were several parents that moved in order to live in the PS 40 zone, where family-sized apartments cost far more than nearby identical units.

The school provides students in the community/neighborhood with a chance at success. With attending the school is It known that each student left with greater knowledge than they entered with. Most of the students perform at high levels, and the administration has an open-door attitude that fosters a positive vibe.

The credibility that the teachers have is amazing. Most of the teachers have 10 years or more at the school or at another school, which shows dedication. “They come early. They stay late. They collaborate with each other over lunch,” said Susan Felder, who has been principal since 2004.

Students perform at high levels, and the administration has an open-door attitude that fosters a positive vibe. Teachers have 10 years of experience on average and are by many accounts unusually committed. “They come early. They stay late. They collaborate with each other over lunch,” said Susan Felder, who has been principal since 2004. Parents approached outside the building one morning called teachers “well organized,” “unbelievable,” knowledgeable,” “bright” and “terrific.

In my opinion, P.S 40 is a school for its community which allows the students, parents, and staff to become a family.
