Still Searching

Wanting to find a internship in a specific area makes your search that much more difficult. I started writing to magazines that I have subscriptions to on social media asking them if it’s possible to get an internship at their company. It’s difficult becuase some don’t even acknowledge your questions and just ignore you. I wrote to one of the founders of 8by8 magazine and asked him if it was possible to get an internship at their magazine and he asked me to send him my resume. He said he was going to show my portfolio to the head of the design department and let me know if he’d like to give me a internship.They have won numerous awards for their mix of illustrations and articles so this would be huge for me. They also have excellent writers. Needless to say  I am very excited but also very nervous but I hope I get this internship.
