The reading was definitely easier to understand and it helped me understand more about how a map is a diagram that shows data. Data isn’t only just numbers but it can be presented visually. It started with a brief history map but specifically a thematic map. It is basically a structural map based on landmarking. The reading also talks about data and their version of what data is. But for the most part it talked about how imagery can be great to show data and how it is important to have maps and imagery. They go hand to hand and great for the reader to understand.
I have found these 2 resources that can be used and be helpful. It is a video on what is information theory and a short reading on it as well. Some people prefer to read and others would rather watch a video so iot can be useful.
