There are many things that a college student can do in college in order to develop skills and secure a job in food and beverage. I believe always doing well in the hospitality classes plays a big role as well as always asking questions because asking questions leads to more knowledge, experience as well as skills. Reaching out to experienced people as well as volunteering and finding internships are very important. Internships could lead to job opportunities in the future after a business or person has seen what you are capable of. Joining clubs that have to do with food and beverage is also something that a college student can do in order to develop skills for the future job.
