The speakers today spoke to us about various important skills we could use in the industry. One thing that stuck out to me was when one of the speakers said to use your voice even in uncomfortable situations. This is something I can definitely use for the start of my career because learning to use your voice is important. I should be able to speak up for myself and whenever I have a problem or need to do something. Staying quiet does not allow me to show who I am really am, and may cause me to miss out on opportunities. The speakers also said to never give up, which is valuable especially when you are first looking for a job. Some jobs may reject you, but the important thing is to not give up and keep looking. The right job will come along for you.
