The Intrepid Sea, Air & Space Museum is important to New York tourism because it’s important to remember history and introduce it to the people who don’t know our history. The actually aircraft carrier USS Intrepid was used in World War II, Cold War and the Vietnam War. NASA then used the vessel to recover ships. The museum also has the Space Shuttle Pavilion, Growler and the British Airways Concorde which is the fastest Concorde to cross the Atlantic Ocean. The Museum is just another powerful reminder that history is important.
