According to the assignment i was apart of the culinary tourism group. Culinary tourism is exactly what it states; being able to enjoy different foods and beverages as well as understand the culture behind what your eating/drinking. One of the most toured places in our city is in the Brooklyn waterfront near the bridge itself. Some of the culinary activities on the waterfront are: Smorgasburg, Brooklyn Bridge Sunset Food Tour and of course many more local bar’s and cafe’s. Smorgasburg is the perfect place to endulge in brooklyns culinary culture where one enjoys a variety of food and beverages, it has even been called “The Woodstock of Eating”. As for the Brooklyn Food Tour it is a food tour from lower manhattan to the brooklyn bridge. Throughout this tour not only do you enjoy a variety of food and beverages but you get to take a deeper look at history along the way through the help of an educated leader.
