Terra Treats Do You Copy?

The major thing I learned this week was to adjust to the smaller establishment and to be easy on myself while still learning. Terra treats is a small kiosk that sells 3 different types of pizza and soft drinks. It is very different from pizzafari, a full-service operation. In Terra, there are only 3 cast members, and it is much slower. Working at Terra also gave the opportunity to learn how to predict what the operation needs. We only have 2 or three of each kind of pizza so as it sells, we need to estimate what we will need. This taught me greatly about the ever-changing guest flow and demand. I hope I have the opportunity to work in our kiosk a few more times before my program is over as it is a great change of pace and a great learning opportunity.

This week I finally had the opportunity to work at our kiosk, Terra Treats. I have been trained since august but have not had a full shift there. It was definitely a learning experience, but I am very grateful to my fellow cast members for being patient with me while I was learning what to do.

From this experience I was able to learn how to transition and adapt quickly from a fast-paced environment to a slow one and learn from my peers who have worked in our kiosk before me.
