This week new menu items debuted all across Disney’s Animal Kingdom. Many places either added or lost menu items and some old menu items returned. This led to some hiccups but overall, at Pizzafari we had a smooth roll out of the new menu items. This is an example of that the only thing constant is change.

During my time so far at Pizzafari, many people have come and gone, there have been production changes and protocol changes. These are all very big changes when running a business and might take a long time to get used to. However, most times you do not have the luxury of having time as you must pick up on things very quickly.

I have always been someone who picks up on things very quickly once I get the hang of things. These new changes have been a bit confusing, but they have taught me to be adaptable and ready for anything. This has also been a great opportunity for me to show leadership among my coworkers because we are all learning, and we will only succeed if we help each other out. Although change can be challenging at times, I know I always have my coordinators and leaders to talk to if I am overwhelmed. By learning to do these new tasks and adapting to these changes we are able to help the business succeed and help ourselves succeed as well.
