There is another hurricane approaching Orlando and it is going to directly hit Disney. They gave us the option at the Caribbeans Resort to stay at the resort to work through the hurricane. It is called a ride out and I signed up for it. That way I’ll be able to get overtime during the ride out as well as get to personally experience disaster protocol. Mostly all the guests at the resort were ordering pizzas and I was helping at every station I could. Prepping and making pizzas I also learned how to be conscious of how much product is going out and at the rate it’s going out to keep up with the demand. I also learned about building a line assembly and how to utilize time management. After the ride out was over, they decided to put me in other locations at the resort. I went to spyglass where there is only one chef station. You were there by yourself with some of the front of the house and you are the only cook there. They had me trained so I can learn about the different locations of the resort.
