My final week at Disney World has come and my workplaces were filled with a lot of emotions many people were upset that I was going to leave and had sent me on my way with kind words and reassurances my leaders and coordinators have told me that I was a great worker and a reliable one. My last shifts of work were slightly uneventful it was just a normal day rather slow but normal day I was suppose to close register but I was switched and was now going to close up soda fountains which wasn’t an issue I was just prepared to close register. We closed at 10:30 and it was time for me to leave so I said goodbye to my leaders first and then to my coordinators and then I went out to say goodbye to my co-workers I am so grateful for this experience I learned so much about hospitality and I have learned how Disney World has come to hold its place for the best hospitality service and I want to take these lessons and hopefully apply them to any job I get back at home.

You are about to embark on an experience that will enhance your perspective of the hospitality industry and will most definitely provide you with the tools needed to become a leader in our industry. This, however, will require a lot of work and dedication on your behalf. Because of the unique advantages that can only be learned from your participation as a student in the Walt Disney World College Program the faculty of the hospitality management department encourage you to take full advantage of all the opportunities the program offers. In order to do this, you will be enrolled at New York City College of Technology, CUNY for a total of 12 credit hours. These credits will be earned by successfully completing the requirements listed in this syllabus.
