We eat the foods from our culture as we grow up. It becomes established in our personalities. Many of us identify food from our childhood with warm feelings and pleasant memories, and it serves as a link between us and our families, bearing a specific and personal significance for us.

Food culture is more than just eating food that’s diverse. Food culture is more about immersing yourself in the history and knowledge of the food, and becoming apart of the culture itself.

  3. Lre Collymore

Food culture is getting to know the history of the food and knowing how the dish got it’s certain taste/aroma. The culture behind the food is also very important and influential in the food.

Food culture is food at are from the country that we grew up with them from our childhood as every different food from different cultures have there own taste and smell that makes them different and unique from other food from a different culture.

Food culture is a part of us. Its not just the food we eat but the history that is involved. From the crops grown to what it served on the table. Like my classmate mentioned, some of this cultured food reminds us of our childhood, or whenever we eat that certain food again, we feel like everything will be okay. Even drinks are involved in this type of “food culture” we have.

Food culture is food that is derived from a specific area in the world. This type of food is shared with others in other different parts of the world, and the experience is shared to one another. Food culture should be protected and conserved, because its a piece of defining culture from a race, or a country.
