Article: Behrman, Max (2012), New York City: Why you should visit the High Line

Quote from article: “The High Line, built in the ’30s, was a freight rail line originally designed to help deliver meat to the Meatpacking District of New York City. Since then, the High Line fell into disuse.”

My thoughts/interpretation: They stopped using the freight line which cause them to discontinue the rail.
