This graph shows Nations around the world’s average time spent eating per-day in comparison to their obesity  rate. While the Turkish spend more time eating per-day than the others their obesity rate is fair. The United States on the other hand spend about 100minutes less eating per-day than the Turkish and has the lowest time out of all the other Nations, but our obesity rate is the highest.

  1. I’m not convinced that there is any correlation between these two phenomena. To me the data points are pretty scattered. However, it certainly is something to ponder.

  2. I find this graph interesting, how the United States spends less time eating and we have the highest obesity rate, guess it depends on the calorie intake. The data fluctuates from country to country, but Germany, Spain and Blegium seem to be within in the same margin as far as the time spent eating and the BMI.
