– One possible issue I would like to research about is neurodiversity. Neurodiversity itself is NOT the issue it is how people disregard it whether it’s social media or in real life. Being “neurodivergent” is not a problem but I would like to bring light on this. In this era also known as Generation-Z there have been a lot of changes in the world. A lot of “neurotypicals” seem to have a superiority complexity (even though it’s unintentional!) and it feels like neurodivergent people are the inferior complex. At the end of the day we should be equals right? No that doesn’t happen because a lot of people who are not neurodivergent tend to say slurs most commonly the r-slur knowing it is offensive to neurodiversity, and that word is something that community can take back as rightfully theirs. I am currently enrolled in a psychology class but we are not discussing the importance of neurodiversity and it’s saddening. If the class won’t take the first step I can try and maybe spread awareness as a whole. What got me interested on this term and its value was because I used to be friends with people who have aspect in their brain which has an impact on their life.

– Another possible issue I would to do research on is why do students have to pay for college? Why isn’t college free in the United States? I have a feeling the government likes to take money from students which is unfair because how can a student continue with their education if they’re broke? I mean there is FAFSA but some students don’t have that and have to end up paying by their pocket which is upsetting. If there was an article that explains to the government why this is an issue it’ll reach many students, professors, and government officials that money doesn’t grow on trees and that we shouldn’t be in debt anymore.
