To my future self

Dear Michelle,

You finished your first semester in college! How was it?  Was it everything you hoped for? Or was it Harder than you expected. Did you achieve your goal of all A’s? No matter how everything played out, what matters is that you made it!Which makes all those late nights and early mornings worth it.  I’m proud of you. You were able to overcome all the obstacles thrown at you and make it to where you are now! Let’s keep this up in the next semester. Continue to study hard and don’t procrastinate! You’ve made it too far to quit now! Make sure you change what you couldn’t in the first semester. Don’t forget that no matter what life throws at you, you have to keep moving forward. Below I put a song that has always helped us keep moving forward.

About Me

I am really excited to be taking this course! I love working and learning about our rights as well as what we can do to fight for them. In high school I was a student activist and worked with others to educated students on what their rights were in and out of school. I also helped set up rally’s to get people involved in fighting for their rights and the rights of others. My only fear is that because school is online I might have a difficult time keeping up. With school being online there is a lot of room for error and I fear that I might miss important information if something should happen. Below i’ve put a photo of an instagram post that my internship made. In the post they spotlighted me because of the work I had done for them. This means a lot to me because I dedicated a lot of my time to my internship and for them to recognize the work I did means a lot to me!
