Kyle Sanders Annoying Ways People Use/ Quotables

My Note 3
I learned from reading this text is the many mistakes we do in our writing that can bother our readers. One example is a paragraph beginning with a quote or closed with a quote this can be said as having no guidance to whoever is reading your writing. The writer doesnā€™t elaborate what they meant with that specific quote and why they choose it for their topic. Another example is the a lot of quotes in one paragraph or no clear recognition of which one are words of the source and which is our own words. Giving no type of clarity to the reader of a source being use and the analysis of that source. Questions I have is, how to use a text citation from a source? Ā When should we paraphrased and cite? Another thing is, this for any type of genre we used when we quote or is this specifically for a specific type of genre?

The multiverse is a theory of reality that includes a possibly infinite number of parallel universes. Many scientist has spent years researching a crucial question, is it real or not? Recently this year new disclosures has been reveal. According to the article, Smithsonian Magazine the author Sara Scoles writes,ā€ They are hunting for the stretch marks that inflation would have left on the cosmic microwave background, the light left over from the Big Bang. These imprints could tell scientists whether inflation happened, and help them find out whether itā€™s still happening far from our view. And if our universe has bumped into others in the past, that fender-bender would also have left imprints in the cosmic microwave background.ā€ Sara Scoles is telling us that scientist had found a way of figuring out the truth of, is the multiverse a fiction or a science? They had found a way stretch marks left in space, but still need to continue investigating; however, they believe finding these marks can be the solution to their problem.Ā  It either can be the answers to all of the questions of the universe they have been asking for ages or simply nothing.Ā  They of course need a tool that can speed up the investigation but right now they have a sense direction of where they can be heading for or what they should be looking out for.

Part 1Ā

Reynolds, Glenn Harlan. “International Space Law: Into the Twenty-First Century.” SSRN,2 Mar.2015, papers.ssrn.com?so13?papers.cfm?abstract_id=2571912

Part 2

This article talked about space law problems, that will be needing sooner or later answers to, and what the solution or answer should be to some of these questions that will be asked or should be asking already. It addressed topics that concerned with environmental concerns, property rights , disclaimer of extraterritorial sovereignty, international cooperation, international trade issues etc. and so much more. More importantly in this is the governing of space, space is a totally different concept and is seen as such a vast place for someone to inhabit and up until now there hasn’t really been much prove of a place habitable to life in. However they focus on the question what happens if there was such a place since the universe is such a big place and we haven’t even discover half of it yet the. So, this article talked about this and more and how we should start thinking of these and of the what ifs.

Part 3

I agree with this text is telling us to start thinking of life outside in the universe what should be done, lawyers should start thinking and coming up with laws that can address this and what should be done if they come to us. According to the article it states” A logical next step would be for lawyers, scientist, and other interesting parties to begin thinking about how this contact would be managed if it should occur.”Ā  A legal source just focusing on that specific law to that question who takes over who, when and where isn’t really found there wasn’t such source. So if the multiverse is real, what will happen to us or even them what will we do with the information? The quote illustrates that we should start thinking about that we need to think ahead we already are thinking of the multiverse as a theory and being real now what happens if such prove to discovering that the multiverse is truth, what will occur? I would tell the author how should we address this question? How will he address it?

A rhetorical feature is that this article is from 1992 and address the 21st century as the future so the credential of this article is not really so good it’s outdated because it’s from a long time and right now 2021 a lot has changed both in science and the state itself. I feel the author writing style was good it really talked of many topics that I see that is useful and many scientist might have this in mind when keep investigating there theories trying to find answers to the question of the multiverse when they read this paper. The purpose when writing this is for scientist or everyone, the government to asked questions and start thinking of them. However I find this articleĀ  credible because the question from many years ago has no answer to today, no legal source really focused on that question nothing in this century talks about that which gets me to think when will they start talking of it. If they already started talking of the multiverse and will not stop talking of it and made it clear they will keep investigating it until proven otherwise why not have lawyers start thinking of solutions/ answers to their questions.

Part 4

“Although the likelihood of this sort of event, quite literally, is incalculable, the potential consequences are significant enough that a bit of preventive lawyering may be in order.”

“Our technology has grown in almost magical fashion over the past 2,000 years, but foreign policy is still practiced pretty much as it was during the Roman Empire”

The Proposal

The thing I want to teach my audience and the most important thing I learned is the multiverse has scientist wondering whatā€™s real? and whatā€™s not? However, this theory isnā€™t really something that scientist or astronomers are going to disregard that easy mostĀ Ā scientist say or see it as something that makes sense when it comes to explaining the wonders of the universe. It will be something that until not proven otherwise will remain as the only explanation. The audienceĀ Iā€™m trying to reach are teens who are into science, astronomy anything in the science or math field.

The genre Iā€™m planing to write this is a magazine I choose this because many people who love and are interested to know more about new discoveries on NASA or anything related to science and math they tend to look in magazines or articles. I know a good portion when it comes to this genre how people who write this try to give a bias writing and be informative as they can. I will learn more about this genre by reading the different types of magazines and seeing which one will fit perfectly when trying to reach my audience and do one similar to it.

I plan to write this by first investigation which type of magazine article I will write in. Secondly, how much I will write it for example like a paragraph, a whole page I will have to see how the magazine is usually set when it comes to writing what I want to write, how much information Iā€™m allow to be put in. Thirdly, my title and will I need pictures, quotes etc..

My concerns about finishing this project is, do I have to do it by hand or can it be type by a word templet? Will in reach my audience? The wording does it have to be arduous since itā€™s for teens but some teens are advance when in comes to the math and science department?
