A written genre that could help me achieve my goals is realism. “Realism is a representation of how things really are, or being practical and facing facts. An example of realism is the rejection of mythical beings.” according to google and the way that I can learn about writing in that genre is to become more open minded to things in life. And also to be more observant ,willing to learn, and listen to the opinion of others. Realisim revolves around reality. For this unit I would like to hear from the community of teenagers telling my about their input in relationships and I would like to hear from the community of ted talkers on Youtube because the information they change is extremley helpful . In order for me to hear from the community of teenagers i expect to hear from them through podcasts on Youtube and blogs online.

Esther– Realism is a literary genre– and that’s cool! But genres you might want to think about for Unit 3 are more the other two you mention: The TED talk or YouTube teen blogs! (do they still call them vlogs?) Nothing wrong with your initial answer– I just want you to know that these are genres too!
