A genre I feel I know well is fiction. Personally is the only one I have read the most of, all types of books from a variety of authors. It’s something I have always like since it’s telling a story that can be from a romantic type, mystery, horror, comedy,sci-fi etc.I never really saw any rhetorical features but now I can see how the author uses them when writing these stories such as the language, wording, structure and organization in order to captivate it’s reader. I see many similarities between the different fiction series I used to read, how it made readers used imagination for each word it was written and we read. Another feature can be persuasion for a little kid to read this types of books and then believe that all that’s it’s reading it’s true was amazing that an author can accomplish. Figurative language was another rhetorical features used it was a way of writing that was other than what it actually meant it helped me see the writing as somewhat interesting. Well I didn’t know that there were rules of genre but now I can see them. I did learn in 3 or 4 grade that for fiction stories there were some components in order to write fiction. Such as having a climax, characters, plot setting, theme, tone, mood, resolution, writing style, exposition. Now I learn based on the article how previous situations was used in order to write the encounter situation they will have this as an manuel for them see in order to write, creating a genre. Also the questions the author will think about when writing different types of genres. Navigating Genre
