First female CFO in Disneyland

I found this article interesting and informative because of the empowerment of women going on globally and also how the former CFO who is leaving and being replaced by Ms. Christine came to step down. An important aspect is the revelation that, though he is stepping down, he will be still on payroll and “retain his current salary and target bonus for the 2015 fiscal year”

  1. I appreciate this article. Most of my work is with Disney World in Florida so information about the company itself is important to me. For the parks, there are a number of leading women at the executive level and the company in general does a decent job of supporting minority advancement.

Think about the way the people were depicted in the article? What could you summarize about the way be reach top ranks in an organization?

Besides sheer hard work, and meeting or exceeding set targets, the ability to be a team player when going up the ladder as well as when one reaches the top cannot be gainsaid.
