As a student at NYC College of Technology, my goals is to learn about the history of culinary and add some of my past knowledge to make this the best of my abilities.

I am a student at New York City College of Technology majoring in Hospitality Management. I possess over ten years of hotel Front Office operations experience and earning a degree would be beneficial for a long career in Hospitality. I am a dedicated, reliable, and results oriented employee that would not hesitate to assist a guest or support a colleague. I moved from San Francisco to New York City to develop more experience to grow within my professional field. Although it is my desire and passion to continue to work in Hotel Management, I also have a developing interest in Human Resources and Event Management. I am enthusiastic and look forward to learning more about Hospitality not only in this semester, but throughout my academic career.

Hi, my name is Shantel Panton, and I’m currently a student attending New York City College of Technology. I chose to major within the Hospitality program in City Tech to build upon my knowledge of the culinary arts and the hospitality world. The fast pace and hand on program has always appealed to me because of my love for cooking and catering to guests. Even though I have no experience within the industry itself, my hard work, determination, and passion for cooking will help me enhance my professional skills and attributes to succeed within the culinary industry.

My name is Rafael Dominguez. I’m a student in City Tech College. I am studying hospitality management. My goal is to become a general manager. I’m so obsessed to become a general manager, Because since i was in my childhood. I always admired my uncle who graduated from City Tech College , and became a general manager at more than one hotel in the Dominican Republic. Also, my older sister graduated from City Tech College, and she is in charge of the revenue area at the New Yorker hotel located at 34 Street in Manhattan. I always admired the variety of languages in the world and i find myself very comfortable in the hospitality industry  because of the advantages that speaking more than one language gives you in this industry.  Languages are something that I really want to learn many,many languages without having a limit and to become a general manager in hospitality management is been my first goal since day one.

Hi my name is Jackie, this is my third semester of college at City Tech. I started my first college year under communication of design until I realized it wasn’t for me. I switch to hospitality management because after some research it seem like a general major for more than hotel management and culinary. My goal under this major to figure out what I enjoying doing the most and graduate with a degree from it. Ever since I was 15 I was intrigued with the restaurant business. I worked in my uncles restaurant for a year as a waitress. Then worked at a restaurant named Mimi Chengs, there I learned hard work in running a business and discovered that the food industry is for me. I’d say my strength are communicating and working as a team. A personal interest that would enchace my professional attributes would be being social. Hello my name is Najiyya Small and I’m a transfer student from Johnson & Wales University. I’m here at City Tech to finish my Bachelor’s Degree in Hospitality Management. My strengths is that I’m a chef and I know the back of the house and with the knowledge of the BOH it will help with the front of the house when it comes to purchasing and receiving goods.

I’m pursuing the Hospitality Management baccalaureate because I want to work in tourism and hotel management internationally or nationally and as a bilingual I have a higher opportunity.

I am hispanic and Bilingual young adult pursuing a career in Hospitality Management and hope to become a hotel manager in the future.
