Frankenstein

I just would like to say that this book has made me like gothic literature, the novel Frankenstein has been an amazing book and how the story ended was great, victor Frankenstein wanted to have his name in history by getting recognition of his great work but instead he got something better and that was a reflection of his true self. what’s more important that it was his creation that made him realize who is the true monster. we discuss in class that a man’s ambition can be dangerous and can led to his own destruction. being able to create life is a power no one should have, and trying to hold that power can be crazy itself. we see how victor just goes through his life with hate and loneliness. being a human is something special and Frankenstein the creature wanted to experience that himself but instead dealt with feeling like a unwanted monster that society saw. what he wanted couldn’t be giving because the man who created him didn’t want the creature to feel like everyone else but instead feel the hate of being unwanted and not part of society. the creature learns that he must end this body and has well victor inorder for him to be at peace. from this novel I learned that we must keep focus on our journey in life but do not lose focus on what is more important and that is being humble and loving. being able to discover something new to help benefit mankind is beautiful but don’t let the journey of helping others consume you instead. having an idea is beautiful because no one can take that away.
