The story of āāFrankensteinā by Mary Shelley is one of greatest literatures ever written. Even if you havenāt read the book you know who Frankenstein is and how scary looking he is. After reading the book I realized that after Victor created him he wasnāt scary at all and wanted to make friends with everyone but everyone was scared of him. After being lonely for a long time he asked Victor if he would create him a female companionship. Victor agreed and created her but as soon as she was created he destroys her. Frankenstein was really mad and decides to kill everyone that Victor loves because he killed the only thing that Frankenstein really wanted. In the beginning Frankenstein learns how to read, speak the language and had emotions but then he turns bad because Frankenstein destroys his companion which raises the questions of who really is the monster. I enjoyed this book more than ā Castle of Otrantoā because it is a better written literature in my opinion and a life lesson that is relatable in todays society as well is that you shouldnāt judge a book by its cover and thatās what everyone did to Frankenstein in the book.

A lot people may and will agree with you Marvi; because the way Mary Shelley portrays the real history of the character Victor Frankenstein is so relatable to the readers who commonly just become so captured and interested in this real person. I also liked how you pointed out the fact that the author raises the question “who/what really is the monster”; these are very good and important questions readers should raise.
