Micro-Activity #21: Reflecting and Building the Portfolio

                   I have learned a great deal about writing from this class and I feel like it shows over the course of the semester how much I improved and how much I have learned as a writer. I struggled with some of these assignments but learned a lot from them. For example the  first major assignment which I felt like I struggled with the most.  Writing for the discourse communities and the target crowd was very challenging for me. The reason  I struggled so much was because I didn’t understand the bridge between addressing  a crowd in a letter but still backing it up with facts. I felt like I learned a lot from this assignment because  after looking over my corrections I re- read it and realized where I went wrong and how to fix it. Contrary to that assignment was another assignment I felt like I did very well on , and really felt like my thinking and writing grew. Assignment 3 the multimodal project I felt I did very well on . I had a lot of fun doing this assignment because I got to interview someone who I was close to and had a lot to give to my project. One thing I think I learned that manifested well in this project compared to my other ones was how my ideas came together. I feel like i was able to express myself the way i wanted to.
