Week 12: Monday, 11/9 – Friday, 11/13

You will spend this week drafting Unit 3–see you work below. Please be sure you are clear on the directions for the Unit 3 assignment–review the Unit 3 guidelines.

  • It is a two-part assignment. The first part is to help you do the thinking and planning for the multimodal piece you will create and the second part is the actual piece you will create in a particular multimodal genre.
  • You will create a piece that shares your research from the annotated bibliography with an audience that you think will benefit from it and you will compose it in a multimodal  genre that appeals to your audience.
  • Please reach out to me if you have questions. We can meet on Zoom and discuss or go back and forth on email. I can even call you if you would like (we can set that up via email).
  • Finally, many of you will be searching for images to include in your text. It is important to give credit for those images in your reflection and piece. Also, your image should be in the public domain. To find images that are in the public domain do the following: Search for whatever you are looking for and then:
    • go to images at the top so that is the only kind of result you are seeing
    • click on “Tools”
    • click on “usage rights”
    • pick “Creative Commons licenses”
  • This will narrow down your search
