The purpose of the first section of the Declaration of Independence is to assert and explain human rights because, from the colonial rule of Great Britain, the United States and its people have not been guaranteed the right as a nation and as a human being. The middle section aims to reveal to the world the misdeeds of the state of Great Britain has done to the United States and citizens. The purpose of the final section is to declare that the United States is a free and independent country, free from political relations with Britain as an independent state. It is both a call to action and a declaration. In my view, this declaration is persuasive enough because it includes specific details.
I think Randy’s third argument relates to the issue of American society today. As for the most famous part of the Declaration that all human beings are equal, he argues that this is why the advocates of slavery have come to reject the declaration. Like the Declaration, all of us who live in this world are created equal, in which we have the right to pursue life, freedom, and happiness. This is true, but there are so many people in the world who think they are superior to others and think they can take away other people’s lives, and act inhumanely, which has become an issue in many societies, including the United States. We must always keep this truth in mind and strive for a world where all discrimination and inequality do not exist.
Yes. Inequalities abound in American society, suggesting that we are far from accomplishing what the Declaration states as it’s goals.
